Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

Big Masterz respects the privacy of visitors, artists, music producers, rights holders and clients. This policy explains how personal information may be collected, used, protected and shared when you use our website or services.

1. Information We May Collect

Depending on the service you use, information may include your name, email address, contact details, artist or business information, music submissions, recording metadata, rights ownership information and communications with Big Masterz. Payment information may be processed by our payment providers.

2. How We Use Information

Information may be used to respond to enquiries, provide music and rights services, process registrations, communicate about submissions, verify rights ownership, administer agreements, maintain business records, protect our services and meet legal obligations.

3. Music Submissions and Neighbouring Rights

Where an artist or authorised rights holder submits a recording for radio consideration or rights administration, the relevant recording and rights information may be used to assess the submission and, where separately authorised under the applicable terms, arrange registration or administration of eligible neighbouring rights with relevant collecting societies and rights organisations.

Registration and royalty collection are subject to the rules, eligibility requirements, agreements and availability of the relevant organisations and territories. Submission does not guarantee radio airplay, registration or royalty payment.

4. Royalties and Rights Administration

Big Masterz may offer a revenue-sharing arrangement under which 80% of eligible neighbouring-rights royalties actually received is allocated collectively to entitled rights holders and 20% is retained by Big Masterz for administration, where the parties have agreed to those terms. Allocation among multiple rights holders depends on verified ownership interests and applicable agreements. Relevant taxes, collecting-society deductions and third-party fees may apply as disclosed in the applicable terms.

The specific rights granted to Big Masterz, including the territorial scope and whether an arrangement is exclusive or non-exclusive, must be established in the applicable rights administration agreement. This Privacy Policy alone does not grant those rights.

5. Sharing Information

Information may be shared with service providers, payment processors, collecting societies, rights organisations and professional advisers where reasonably necessary to provide a requested service, administer rights, process payments, comply with law or protect legitimate interests. Information may also be disclosed where legally required.

6. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

Our website or third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality, security, analytics or advertising, where enabled. If Google AdSense or other advertising services are used, those providers may process information according to their own policies and applicable requirements. Any required consent or advertising disclosures should be presented where applicable.

7. Data Security and Retention

Big Masterz should use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. Information should be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, contractual obligations, rights administration and legal requirements.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of or other action concerning your personal information. Requests can be directed to Big Masterz using the contact details below. Some records may need to be retained where the law or a valid contractual obligation requires it.

9. International Processing

Music distribution and rights administration may involve organisations and service providers operating in other countries. Where personal information is transferred internationally, applicable legal safeguards should be observed.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended to invite children to provide personal information without the necessary permissions and safeguards. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services, technology or legal obligations change. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated date.

Music Rights and Royalty Information

This section summarises how rights administration may work. It does not replace a separate contract or rights authorisation.

Radio Submission and Rights Registration

Artists who wish to authorise neighbouring-rights registration or administration should review and accept the relevant submission terms or rights administration agreement. Any worldwide scope is subject to applicable laws, the rules of collecting societies and the rights actually controlled or authorised by the artist.

80/20 Royalty Arrangement

Where expressly agreed in the applicable rights administration terms, 80% of eligible neighbouring-rights royalties received is allocated collectively to entitled rights holders, and 20% is retained by Big Masterz. The applicable agreement should explain deductions, reporting, payment arrangements, ownership disputes and termination.

Please consult the applicable service or rights administration agreement for the binding terms relevant to your recording.
